Friday Creek is the name of the stream that runs through my grandfather's property in Carrol County, Ohio. He named his cabin and leatherworking business after the creek. My grandfather, Ed McNabb, passed away in 2012. I now create my products using the time honored techniques and the knowledge he left behind. I am often struck by the poor quality of leather goods on the market. They do not last and are not made with quality materials. I make everything by hand, and am passionate about producing quality goods that can be used and worn through every day; goods that grow old with the owner, and only get better with age, unlike mass-produced products. Along with leather-working, I am an active member of the Cincinnati music scene.
